Intelcan's Skycontrol ATM and Skycom AMHS complete site acceptance testing for Guyana

Intelcans SKYCONTROL ATM and SKYCOM AMHS have successfully passed acceptance testing for the Guyanas Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Timehri.

Constructed in a main/standby configuration, SKYCONTROL ATM has been configured with data link capabilities for ADS-C, CPDLC (utilized for ground-air clearance), Online Data Interchange (OLDI) and ATS Interchange Data Communication (AIDC) for coordination among the adjacent ATC centres.

Once completed, Cheddi Jagan Airport will be equipped with the new ATM and AMHS alongside an ILS, DME and AWOS.
