Intersoft Electronics APAC Signs Strategic Representative Agreement with Daitron to Expand into Japan’s Aviation and Defense Markets

Intersoft Electronics Services APAC Pty Ltd Korea Branch ("Intersoft Electronics APAC") has signed an official Representative Agreement with Japanese technology solutions provider Daitron Co., Ltd. Under the agreement, Daitron will act as Intersoft Electronics’ authorized representative in Japan, driving business growth across radar test equipment, CNS (Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance) measurement solutions, airport infrastructure assessment, military surveillance support, and IFF Mode 5 AIMS programs.

The strategic partnership was formally established on August 31, 2026, at Daitron’s Tokyo Sales Office. Key executives in attendance included Darren Gillam, Managing Director of Intersoft Electronics APAC, Brian Ku, Country Head for Korea & Japan, and Akio Tanaka, Corporate Officer at Daitron, together with senior management representatives, on behalf of President Shinsuke Tsuchiya.

Accelerating Expansion into the Japanese Market

This agreement marks a major step in the Asia-Pacific expansion strategy for Belgium-headquartered Intersoft Electronics Group. Building on its 40-year heritage and recent expansion into Bengaluru, India, Intersoft Electronics is strengthening its local presence in Japan, one of Asia’s largest aviation and defense markets, as the nation continues to modernize its airport infrastructure and defense surveillance capabilities.
