JAA TO and RMIT sign MoU on Aviation English Language education

The Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organisation (JAA TO) and RMIT Training Pty Ltd t/a RMIT English Worldwide (REW), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) initialising their cooperation in delivering aviation English language education and assessment services.
This MoU will lead to a more formal Agreement in which the details of the cooperation will be further established. The parties intend to actively promote Aviation English Courses and the RMIT English Language Test for Aviation (RELTA), and collaborate in the development and joint delivery of custom-made programmes.

To ensure and maintain a worldwide high level of aviation safety, it is key to offer top quality training to aviation professionals everywhere in the world, says Joost Jonker, Director JAA TO.

Access to latest developments in the various aviation fields of expertise and state-of-the-art training methods highly contribute to the job satisfaction and job opportunities of aviation professionals, thus bringing the exodus of human resources to other regions to a standstill.

The fact that RMIT is a very experienced and well recognised partner in the region only strengthens JAA TOs belief in the envisaged success of the cooperation, according to Joost Jonker.

RMIT Training CEO, Rachel Holthouse commented, this important partnership will ensure that aviation English needs are met with the delivery of high quality testing and flexible, effective training which is user friendly for trainees.

REW is committed to supporting the aviation industrys safety concerns by collaborating with respected organisations such as JAA TO who service this industry so well.
