M-AIS deliver their latest upgrade to EAD eAIP tools

Managed-AIS latest contribution to update the EAD system has passed pre-delivery testing by EUROCONTROL with flying colours. The Release 5 extension 4 (R5E4) added fourteen changes to the apsXML eAIP software, including eleven functional enhancements.
The changes include: Upgrading to version 1.1 of the eAIP DTD Previewing HTML for an individual eAIP file (e.g. GEN 1.1) Previewing eSupplements and eAICs Improved linking to chart files Improved linking to external URLs An automated tool for EDD management Improved search tools for AIXM tables and data link insertion Scaling improvements Improvements to IDs and cross-references All fourteen changes have been verified by EUROCONTROL and the EAD.
The EADs rigorous release schedule ensures that aspXML, the EAD eAIP solution, continues to move ahead with a release every four months and a major release every eighteen months. Keeping the quality of the software high for each release is particularly important and M-AIS development team consistently achieve this with the help of the companys dedicated testing department.
Sandra Cunningham, M-AIS Software Development Manager welcomed the news, saying, We are very proud of the team, they have worked very hard to bring some significant changes to the software. We look forward to hearing feedback from the software users.
