Micro Nav Limited receives Queens Award from Lord Lieutenant

Micro Nav Limited, the Bournemouth based provider of air traffic control and airport simulation systems, was presented with the Queens Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade. The award was presented by Her Majestys Lord Lieutenant of Dorset, Mrs A. Pitt-Rivers, in a reception held at the Cumberland Hotel, Bournemouth.
The Lord Lieutenant of Dorset, Mrs Anthony Pitt-Rivers & Mr Pitt-Rivers, Bournemouth West MP Conor Burns, the Worshipful The Mayor & Mayoress of Bournemouth, Councillor & Mrs Barry Goldbart and a host of local VIPs joined the Board and staff of Micro Nav Limited for a reception following the Queens Award presentation.

Demonstrations were made of some of Micro Nav Limited products, including the 3D air traffic control simulator and the airside driver trainer.

Nav Limited won the Queens Award for Enterprise in recognition of the companys outstanding performance in exporting high technology air traffic control and airport training systems throughout the world. It is the first time that the company has won the award, following the company trebling its exports to 4.6m in the years 2006 to 2008. Micro Nav Limiteds main export markets are Europe, the Middle East and Asia and account for more than 90% of its turnover.
