Polish Air Navigation Services Agency to modernise its Micro Nav BEST Simulator

Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) has awarded Micro Nav Limited (Micro Nav) a contract to modernise its existing BEST simulator suite, including a three-year support agreement.

PANSA is one of Micro Nav’s largest installations at an Air Navigation Service Provider, consisting of a 360° BEST 3D simulator, four 3-Channel BEST Tower simulators and over twenty BEST Radar workstations. Located at the new state of the art training facility in Warsaw, the modernisation contract includes an upgrade to the latest BEST software platform, further software enhancements and four new BEST Tower Foundation systems.

BEST Tower Foundation is Micro Nav’s new low-cost simulation product, first launched at World ATM Congress in Madrid in 2018. BEST Tower Foundation is fully loaded with the BEST simulation engine, including a single position with speech-recognition function, and is geared towards affordability for air navigation service providers seeking additional training capability at a low cost, and for airports and customers looking at a compact and powerful simulation solution.

The delivery elements of the contract are to be complete in time for the Micro Nav BEST User Group to be hosted by PANSA in Warsaw in June 2019.
