Following on from its successful production and marketing of the MTECH 8000-CHS ceilometer MTECH has announced the release of its next generation single lens cloud height detection device, the 8200-CHS ceilometer sensor. The result of over 10 years of research and development the device is a breakthrough in terms of quality of design and affordability. Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2000 quality environment the sensor is of single lens design and is a class 1 eye safe device. The device outputs data in the industry standard CT12K, CT25K and CL31 message formats making it easily integrated into any existing system.
