NAATC and Ubitech Continue to Work Together with a New AMHS/AFTN Project

The Netherlands Antilles Air Traffic Control N.V. (NAATC) has once again contracted Ubitech to supply a key piece of ATS equipment underlying the level of comfort and trust between the two parties. Ubitech will install its Ubimex ATS Message Handling System [AMHS/AFTN] in the Radar Building/ACC to enhance the critical ground-to-ground data communications between the island and other states.
The Ubimex AMHS/AFTN system will be deployed with a NADIN II interface to facilitate seamless communications with the FAA data centre in Atlanta, GA. When NADIN IP connections are made available by the FAA, NAATC can rest assured that Ubitech will be ready for the transition as the Ubimex is the only AMHS/AFTN system certified by the FAA for NADIN IP, NADIN II, & NADIN I interfaces. NAATC and Ubitech have always enjoyed a successful relationship, and the recent success of the AMHS/AFTN project in St. Maarten has provided further evidence to NAATC of Ubitech's capabilities in both systems implementation and long term service and support. Using that experience Ubitech will work closely with NAATC to further solidify our relationship and provide continued support above and beyond expectations.
