NATS and AVTECH Sweden sign MOU

NATS is a UK based company with a wide range of capabilities in Air Traffic Management, over 40 years experience delivering air navigation services in the UK, one of the busiest and most complex airspace in the world, and a range of worldwide contracts for delivering Air Traffic Services, Engineering and Consultancy Services as well as Training programmes. NATSs vision is to be the acknowledged global leader in innovative air traffic solutions and airport performance.

AVTECH is a Swedish publicly listed company that develops services and products for digital Air Traffic Management. Its customers include airlines, airports, aviation authorities, technology companies and aircraft manufacturers who use AVTECHs products/services to optimize operations in terms of cost, noise and emission, capacity, efficiency, punctuality and safety.

Signing the Memorandum of Understanding with NATS is a very important step for AVTECH. NATS is the premier Air Navigation Service Provider in the world with a strong focus on commercial activities, and an international growth-plan that goes hand-in-hand with AVTECHs. The MoU was preceded by in-depth discussions on the compatibility between the two companies products, technical know-how and capabilities. The joint understanding is that the companies have all the prerequisites to supplement and support each other well in a number of areas, says Chairman of the Board in AVTECH Sweden AB (publ), Lars GV Lindberg.

The Memorandum of Understanding is to be followed by in-depth discussions on potential areas of cooperation, after which a number of activities are intended to commence.
