New replay control panel for PLAYBACK, ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTS

Taking data replay to the next level
Ricochet CATCH is the next generation replay control panel for synchronized playback of recorded data from all sources through the same tool - providing air traffic operators with the highest level of replay functionality available on the market.

  • Ricochet takes great pride in always being in forefront of industry requirements:
  • Ricochet CATCH features a revolutionary high level of functionalities that enables maximum replay options for incident investigation, training, creation and maintenance of large distributed systems.
  • Ricochet CATCH is based on a completely new design and architecture a fresh look and feel for a next generation solution to meet tomorrows demands today, yet including the key functionality proven in previous versions of Ricochets replay technology.

New Ricochet CATCH features:
The Ricochet replay concept offers synchronous replay of data on SEVERAL remote replay stations - operated from ONE central position:

Unique simulation and training possibilities
It is expected to be a huge demand for Air Traffic Controllers in the future. Ricochets distributed recording and replaying solution is the perfect tool for training controllers through simulation of real scenarios from a live system. This enables classroom studies where genuine recorded data and incident scenarios can be replayed, and the content tailor made to each individual student by the instructor at the operating station. By doing ATG screen recording and audio recording of the training, a replay of that is the perfect de-brief tool. The system is highly flexible and will introduce the students to various methods of managing communication utilized within the Air Traffic Control system.

Easy to create and maintain large distributed systems
In the new generation Ricochet the modular architecture has been enhanced and improved, making it easier than ever to create and maintain a large, distributed system of Ricochet recording units.  Any number of autonomous recording units can be integrated using the new replay server/manager and administration server/manager architecture. This means that the Ricochet CATCH client application provides system-wide access to replay and administration via one access point. Channels recorded on different recorders are presented seamlessly to the user. The user needs no knowledge of the underlying system configuration to access any channel for replay. This also applies to administration.

Ricochet CATCH highlights:

  • Enhanced playback functionality
  • Secure data impound
  • Easy export of files
  • Open Replay API
  • Easy administration of users and user groups
  • Logging and graphical overview of channel traffic statistics
  • Audit trail, easily exported to MS Excel compatible files
  • Various types of alarm systems

One system - any operation
Ricochets recording and replaying system is highly flexible, meaning capacity and performance can easily be increased. This enables operators to expand their system as needed to fit new requirements. For one-stop-shopping, Ricochet replays and visualizes all data sources, such as audio, radar, screen images and CCTV, from the same source in full synchronism.

Ricochet CATCH is the natural choice for ATC operators who opt for the most innovative technology now and into the future!
