New training available on Performance Based Navigation

ICAO has called for each State to develop a national Performance Based Navigation (PBN) implementation plan by 2009. This will support the use of RNAV and Required Navigation Performance (RNP) capabilities by many airspace users. Now a new course on PBN will enable managers, engineers and operational personnel to better understand what is involved, the issues, and how to address them. The course is offered by Helios, an established ATM consultancy and training provider and takes place October 6-10 2008 at the RAF Club, London UK. For details visit: www.askhelios.com/navigation
Navigation "Navigation Technologies and Techniques" is a 5 day modular programme of training designed to deliver a better understanding of navigation technologies today and their developing role in aviation across the world. The courses take participants from an introduction of core Communications, Navigation and Surveillance technologies past, present and future, through to the satellite navigation services supporting RNAV and RNAV itself. The training is delivered by subject matter experts who are also experienced instructors. Places are limited - interested delegates are advised to book early.
