NLR and everis ADS sign collaboration agreement to boost innovative ATM solutions

The Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR) and everis Aerospace, Defense and Security (everis ADS) signed today a cooperation agreement to further enhance their capabilities and boost the development of cutting-edge solutions in the ATM market. The document was signed by the CEOs of NLR, Michel Peters, and everis ADS, Enrique López, at the everis ADS booth in the World ATM Congress, which started today in Madrid.

This collaboration brings together the experience of NLR, a worldwide leading research and innovation institution in ATM, and the expertise of everis ADS,a company specialized in the development of differential solutions based on the integration of innovative technologies. The deal has been reached so that both organizations can work together on new CNS/ATM (Communications, Navigation and Surveillance, and Air Traffic Management) solutions and services, as well as UTM/U-space solutions, areas in which they have a broad understanding.

Additionally, NLR and everis ADS will join efforts in the fields of real and fast time simulation platforms, and consultancy services related to new operational concepts like remote towers, safety, human factors, and airspace structure and management.

The agreement was signed at the World ATM Congress, which started today in Madrid, and it first intends to focus on opportunities for public and private clients within the regions of South West Europe and South America.
