Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems wins new contracts in Bali, Gerona, India, Libya and Malaga

Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems has been awarded a contract to deliver the NOVA 9000 ATC system for the Area Control Centre (ACC) in Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.
The NOVA 9000 workstation comprises both Control Working Positions (CWP) and Flight Data Displays for tower, approach and geographical sectors as well as supervisors and specific functional positions. The NOVA 9000 system is linked to a separate billing system and synchronises with the voice communication switch. Voice and traffic activities are recorded in the integrated Record and playback system (RPS). Flight strip printers on certain operational positions are also provided. This contract further establishes Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems' position as a reputable supplier of CNS systems to the Indonesian market. The Ngurah Rai International Airport ACC is planned to be operational in October 2008. Gerona AENA (Spanish Airports and Air Navigation) has awarded Emte Sistemas, S.A., Northrop Grumman Park Air's representative company for Spain, a contract for the supply and installation of equipment in order to update the NORMARC ILS CAT I to CAT III at Gerona Airport. The contract also includes site survey, necessary civil works, as well as the commissioning and flight check. India Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract by the Airports Authority of India to provide a range of ground-to-air communication equipment as part of their VHF upgrade programme across India. The contract includes the upgrade of VHF equipment currently in use at airports across India, including ground-to-air radios and VDL-2 data link software. This upgrade will guarantee the latest communication equipment in is in place functioning at maximum capability in the region. Libya Emte Sistemas, S.A., Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems' Spanish representative company, is supplying Libya CAA with ten 3060V2 VHF/UHF transceiver with auxiliary elements for several Airport Control Centres in Libya. The installation will begin March 2008. Malaga AENA has also awarded Emte Sistemas, S.A. a contract for the installation of one NORMARC 3525 24E LLZ radiating system for Malaga Airport to enhance the modification and enlargement of the airport. The contract includes site survey, necessary civil works, as well as the commissioning and flight check. This contract also includes the supply of one NORMARC NM7220A 20 elements Localizer Antenna System.
