Final certificates have been signed, validating CORPAC's new AMHS and AIS solution.
LIMA/PERU, January 2009 CORPAC (Corporación Peruana de Aeropuertos y Aviación Comercial) has officially started operating their new Aeronautical Message Handling System AIDA-NG and its complementing AIM solution CADAS in December 2008. The new infrastructure's official inauguration in Lima is expected within a few weeks with several high ranked governmental officials to attend.
After final works the concluding site acceptance certificates have been signed by CORPAC, adding them to the list of satisfied COMSOFT customers. This ultimate milestone empowers the provided systems to independently handle messaging operations with adjacent ANSPs. Furthermore, CORPAC is now keen on conducting AMHS interoperability tests with other countries in the region.
AIDA-NG supplies its users with the full suite of Extended AMHS services as specified by the ICAO ATN SARPS while guaranteeing continuous compatibility to existing AFTN-based networks and systems. CADAS provides databases for national and international NOTAM and OPMET data and facilitates comfortable access to additional aeronautical messages.
Following the lead of a broad and satisfied user community in the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific region and Europe, CORPAC now operates a technically superior messaging solution that assists Peru's important role as central gateway for AFTN and AMHS traffic between North and South America perfectly.
