Radiocom, Inc. has developed an AMHS Extended Service solution that is fully compliant with ICAO SARP, Documents #9705 and 9880. This is no accident, with the BASIC service being considered a transitional solution; Radiocom decided that low bandwidth and X.400 / X.500 protocols were the way to go. As one of the main providers for South America and with new installations taking place in Ethiopia and Venezuela, Radiocom, Inc. has managed a strong balance between cost and benefits, suitable for any Civil Aviation Authority, from a small configuration integrating legacy AFTN equipment to a large fully compliant Extended Service solution.
