Rockshore selected to implement Airport-CDM at Leonardo da Vinci airport

ADR Group, the manager of Rome airports have selected real-time information management specialists Rockshore to implement Airport-CDM, aimed at improving the overall efficiency of operations at Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport.

Leonardo da Vinci Airport is moving towards fully compliant Airport-CDM status in accordance with EUROCONTROL and ETSI standards, driven by the European Commission's SESAR programme. The introduction of Airport-CDM will enable operational teams at Leonardo da Vinci Airport to improve aircraft turn-round procedures and reduce taxi times, noise and emissions through the use of common, accurate, up-to-date information to inform collaborative decision-making processes.

Following a competitive selection process, Rockshore was awarded the contract for the implementation of its Airport CDM Local technology at Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
