RSCAD and COMSOFT Another Proof of Confidence

Civil Aviation Department of the Republic of Srpska (RSCAD) has taken into operation their new aeronautical message handling system AIDA NG.
BANJA LUKA/REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA, November 2011 After a challenging project schedule of only four months, the air navigation service provider of the Republic of Srpska has successfully site accepted and immediately taken into operation their new COMSOFT aeronautical messaging solution of the brand AIDA-NG. Its launch was a flawless procedure thanks to AIDA-NGs mature and consistent concept and the customers committed staff. For easy and comfortable access to aeronautical information such as flight plans, the system is complemented with COMSOFTs web-based terminal solution CADAS, which is fully compliant to both the Present and the New flight plan format in accordance with ICAO Doc 4444, Amendment 1.
Although the new system is still connected to the established AFTN network, RSCAD will in a second step upgrade their system to AMHS in order to target the transition to the new messaging standard in 2012. Their adjacent centres in Belgrade/Serbia and Sarajevo/Bosnia and Herzegovina both operate COMSOFT systems as well, whereas the latter has just inaugurated its first operational AMHS link in September.
RSCAD had launched their first COMSOFT CIDIN/AFTN system in 2002. By again selecting COMSOFT as the supplier of the new system they affirmed their satisfaction with the products and services as provided by COMSOFT. RSCAD's director, Mr. Damir Ćopić, expressed his great appreciation of COMSOFT: "After the flawless performance of RSCAD's previous system, COMSOFT's AIDA-EL, it was a natural choice to upgrade it to AIDA-NG. We continue to trust in COMSOFT's reputable technology and excellent service."
