Schmid Telecom wins contract for 30 airports in India

Earlier this year Schmid Telecom AG was awarded the contract for Supply, Installation, Training and Commissioning of Voice Communication Systems for 30 airports in India by the Airports Authority of India.
The location of these 30 airports is spread across the length and breadth of India. The project will be completed by October 15, 2010. Under the contract, in addition to the supply of 30 ICS Compact VCS, Schmid Telecom AG will also set up a repair facility and provide the requisite training to Airport Authority of India Technical Support personnel. Schmid Telecom AG is delighted at this success and is fully geared up to execute the project in its entirety within specified time period. In 2008, Schmid Telecom AG was awarded the contract for two ICS Sky VCS for the two largest airports of India - Delhi and Mumbai airports/ATC Centers which have successfully been commissioned and are fully operational.
