Searidge Technologies, global provider of Remote Tower and airport surface optimization solutions to Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) and airports announced they have been selected by HungaroControl, Hungary's ANSP, to receive their Best Partner Award for the crucial role they played in the implementation of their integrated remote tower solution.

At the end of last year, HungaroControl and Searidge successfully completed live trials of its' integrated Remote Tower at Budapest airport.  This was the first Remote Tower of its size and complexity, managing close to 600 movements during the trial period, without any limitation or constraints regarding the scheduled traffic. All responsibilities were delegated to a fully seated shift including 4 ATCOs and a supervisor (a total of 13 ATCOs participated in the trial) providing smooth and fluent air traffic control services at Budapest.

“We are honoured to be given this prestigious award by our partner” said Moodie Cheikh, CEO, Searidge Technologies.  “HungaroControl have proven themselves to be innovative thinkers and advanced technology adopters and together, we have achieved great things, including demonstrating the capabilities and viability of a Remote Tower in a large airport environment.  We are looking forward to continuing our partnership as we move this project forward.”
