In the framework of a larger program called SIDACTA (Radar Surveillance System Project) where Thales is acting as prime contractor, SITTI has been providing the La Paz APP Centre with a new MULTIFONO® M800IP® Voice Communication System (VCS). The supply of the system included Controller Working Positions, radio and telephone interfaces, intercom facilities and a fully redundant voice recording system. The installation, configuration, setting to work and commissioning phases have been successfully followed by Site Acceptance Tests. These latter proved the complete adherence of the supplied system to the Customer requirements and its positive response to the local operational needs.
The SIDACTA project is also including other important sites in Bolivia, i.e. Cochabamba, Trinidad and Santa Cruz, aimed at giving operators access to both analogue and digital connections for the accomplishment of their tasks in the Bolivian airspace. The latest and most advanced IP technology provided by the MULTIFONO® M800IP® VCS family is put at the Customer’s disposal, together with analogue-to-standard IP gateways.
SITTI is a primary VCS manufacturer and supplier worldwide, capable of giving prompt and top edge solutions to Customer needs, both in the Civilian and Military fields. The leading edge, redundant, non-blocking architecture of the MULTIFONO® M800IP® provides flexibility and modularity for easy expansion and addition of further functionalities
