SITTI to provide a new VCS to Eswatini
Eswatini is a kingdom in Southern Africa, where the local King Mswati III International Airport is going to be provided with a brand new VCS (Voice Communication System) by SITTI. The system belongs to the renowned MULTIFONO® M800IP® family that SITTI is successfully installing all over the world.
Through HENSOLDT South Africa, SITTI has been awarded the supply of a new system to be installed at the largest airport in the kingdom, together with 5 consoles, also manufactured by SITTI. Once the system setup will be completed, Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority (ESWACAA), the local ANSP, will be able to manage the international air traffic to/from the country. Further information on ESWACAA can be found here: https://www.linkedin.com/company/king-mswati-iii-international-airport/
Both analogue and VoIP (Voice over IP) radios are seamlessly connected to the M800IP® system, together with analogue, digital and VoIP telephone lines. Radio, telephone, intercom communications are managed by the VCS system in a straightforward way, so that operators take all benefits from a deeply integrated architecture that makes the use of different connection technologies transparent to the final user.
The Factory Acceptance Tests were successfully completed in February 2026 and the system is now ready for shipment.
