SITTI upgrade to Romatsa Bucharest ACC

A major upgrade of the voice communication system is going to be undertaken at the Bucharest ACC (Area Control Center) facilities, significantly enhancing operational capacity and reliability. The project covers the full scope of activities, including installation, configuration, system setup, integration with existing infrastructure, and final commissioning.

The planned upgrade will extend VoIP radio and VoIP ground-to-ground communication capacity, ensuring clearer, more resilient and scalable communications, based on the latest available standards including ED-137. In addition, 20 new controller working positions are also envisaged, improving operational efficiency and supporting future traffic growth. This modernization represents an important step toward strengthening communication capabilities and ensuring safe, seamless operations.
