Successful FAT for NATO Systems

- Milan, Italy.

With the proactive contribution of EVIDEN, SITTI systems destined to be installed at NATO facilities in Spain successfully reached an important milestone: they completed the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and are now ready for shipment.

The supply to NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) included 10 Voice Communication Systems (VCS) and 6 Voice Recording Systems (VRS) to enhance the air traffic control capabilities, through effective and efficient interoperability, increased security, and additional operational readiness of allied forces.

VCS systems secure reliable and uninterrupted communication in the command-and-control network, thus enabling coordinated management of complex air operations though top-edge advanced technologies deployed at strategic bases in Spain to strength the capability of NATO to rapidly respond to potential threats, ranging from air defence to the management of international crisis. VCSs are complemented by digital recording systems (VRS) that allow all communications to be recorded and securely stored for long periods, collecting audio streams from multiple telephone lines and radio channels, including both VoIP (Voice over IP) and analogue sources.

The successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Tests confirms the reliability and performance of the supplied systems, reflecting SITTI’s ongoing commitment to advanced communication standards and high operational requirements.
