VCS Systems to NATO in Spain
SITTI is proud to announce that through EVIDEN, a Spanish company of the ATOS group, a new contract has been awarded by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for the supply of 10 Voice Communication Systems (VCS) and 6 Voice Recording Systems (VRS) to be installed in Spain.
In an increasingly complex geopolitical context, the supply of voice communications systems represents much more than a simple technical delivery: it is a fundamental element in ensuring interoperability, security, and operational readiness of allied forces in the Western Mediterranean.
VCS systems, at the heart of the command and control infrastructure, enable the secure and coordinated management of air operations. In particular, the adoption of these cutting-edge technologies at strategic bases in Spain strengthens NATO’s ability to respond rapidly to any threat, from air defence to international crisis management.
Through the VRS systems, all conversations can be recorded an durable storage units for a year time, collecting audio streams from tens of telephone lines and radio channels, both VoIP (Voice over IP) and analogue.
These systems, the result of SITTI’s ongoing commitment to improving performance and adherence to advanced communications standards, represent an essential element for the secure and efficient coordination of military and air defence operations. Thanks to this technology, NATO further strengthens its rapid response capabilities, interoperability between allied forces, and operational security in this crucial area.
