SkeyDrone Partners with Amab for Assembly of SkeyBoxes
SkeyDrone is proud to announce a new partnership with Amab, a leading Belgian social enterprise for customised work, to assemble SkeyBoxes, SkeyDrone’s signature hardware component used across its drone detection deployments.
As demand for SkeyDrone’s solutions continues to grow in Belgium and internationally, the company is expanding its production capacity while reinforcing its commitment to local, inclusive and high-quality manufacturing. Amab, known for its strong track record in precision assembly and its mission to create meaningful employment opportunities, offers a reliable and scalable production environment fully aligned with SkeyDrone’s operational standards.
The collaboration ensures that each unit is assembled with precision and care, while contributing to meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities. This clearly reflects SkeyDrone’s key values: innovation, partnerships, care and excellence.
Stijn De Vleeschhouwer, Managing Director of SkeyDrone, commented: “We are delighted to partner with Amab. Their expertise, flexibility and commitment to quality make them an excellent fit for supporting the growth of our operations. This collaboration not only enhances our production capabilities but also reflects our ambition to build a more sustainable and socially conscious value chain.”
Joëlle van der Veeken, Business Development Manager Elektro-Montage of Amab, added: “We are proud that SkeyDrone has chosen Amab as an assembly partner. Our teams are motivated to contribute to innovative technologies that enhance safety in the airspace. This partnership highlights how social enterprises can play an important role in high-tech industries.”
The first batch of Amab-assembled SkeyBoxes has already been delivered and deployed, with additional production planned in the coming months as SkeyDrone continues to strengthen its footprint in the drone detection domain.
