The Department of National Defence had a requirement and needed to obtain a scalable, upgradeable, open-architecture interface for the RCS that would accommodate their CCR sites, and their Tactical Control Radar Units. SolaCom was selected to manufacture and test a system for the department. The system will provide Canadian Air Defence Sector (CADS) operators with the means to operate a two-way communication system from a remote location. SolaCom looks forward to working with the Department of National Defence on this project and to demonstrate how it can meet the distinct operational requirements of the DND said Mike Walker, ATC Business Development Manager. Our customers can expect a cost-effective, user-focused approach to design that also takes into account any unique conditions a system might entail.
