Systems Interface awarded Zambia NDB Contract

Systems Interface, based in the UK, has been awarded the contract for the supply of two Non-Directional Beacons (NDBs) for the Zambian Air Force by the Ministry of Defence of the Government of the Republic of Zambia. The Two Nautel VR125D NDBs will replace existing beacons at Mumbwa Air Force Base and Samora Machel Air Force Base.

The ATU-LP includes Nautel's patented variable resistive matching, providing un-paralleled radiated field strength stability, and reliability. Both systems include a VR-Link remote control and monitoring system to allow technicians to control and monitor from a Network operations centre.

As agents for Nautel, Systems Interface has supplied 125 NDB systems throughout the world and has an extensive parts depot at its UK warehouse allowing expedited parts delivery to customers in the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
