Systems Interface signs prestigious contract for SSR International Airport (Mauritius)

The Civil Aviation Authority Central Procurement Board of Mauritius has selected the UKs Systems Interface to supply, install and commission replacement Navigational Aids for Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport
Systems Interface will provide project management, installation, commissioning and system integration of a Selex 2100 ILS and associated remote control and status systems, including all associated civil works. Due to the topography at the site for the ILS Localiser antenna array, Systems Interface have carried out detailed computer modelling to ascertain that the Localiser will meet the requirements for ICAO CAT-II operations. The Localiser array will be sited on a specially designed and manufactured 8 metre high gantry, capable of withstanding cyclonic winds up to 250km per hour. The award of this turnkey project is further recognition of the expertise of Systems Interface in the field of ground based navigational aids.
