Systems Interface awarded airfield lighting upgrade at Banjul International Airport, The Gambia

Systems Interface, based in the UK, has been awarded a turnkey contract by Arezki Group, for the supply and installation of airfield lighting at Banjul International Airport, The Gambia.

Systems Interface has previously completed several successful projects in The Gambia. Systems Interface will be responsible for the supply and installation of all equipment while Arezki Group, the prime civil contractor for the end customer Gambia Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), will provide all necessary civil works.

Installation will begin in March 2015 and include:

• Apron Flood Lighting 
• Power Distribution System 
• Apron and Taxiway Edge lighting 
• Apron and Taxiway Signage 

Banjul International Airport is the only airport in the Republic of the Gambia.
