Systems Interface in partnership with NATS selected to deliver Frequentis’ IP-based VCS at Bristol Airport

As part of an overall upgrade of the bespoke communication systems at Bristol Airport NATS, in partnership with Systems Interface Ltd, will replace the airport’s Voice Communication System (VCS) to provide a clear and effective solution for current and future technical requirements.
The Frequentis 3020X VCS is fully redundant, providing flexible integration of existing analogue and digital radio infrastructure and offers a multitude of interfaces to external systems. Designed for IP radio and telephone connectivity the VCS 3020X is fully compliant to the ED-137B EUROCAE standard.

NATS will project manage the overall upgrade programme with support from Systems Interface who will deliver, install and commission the Frequentis 3020X VCS as a key element of the project.
Systems Interface are a leading ATM systems integrator and have been successfully delivering turnkey control tower, navigational aids and meteorology systems projects in the UK and overseas for more than 15 years.
