Technology deployed to upgrade EUROCONTROL's systems set for US takeoff

DesignVerse, the European enterprise AI startup whose tech is already deployed inside EUROCONTROL's air traffic management systems, has launched its Enterprise AI Platform to the US market.

Manolache will address the audience at one of North America's largest AI conferences, Ai4 Las Vegas, in a session titled "How Europe's Air Traffic Network Is Modernizing Legacy Systems with AI," moderated by veteran US tech journalist Nancy Scola.

The session coincides with DesignVerse's introduction of the Enterprise Context Layer to US enterprise buyers for the first time — a new software architecture that lets AI generate code using a company's own architecture, engineering standards, business rules and institutional knowledge, rather than relying solely on generic internet-trained models.

The launch also marks the general availability of DesignVerse's Visual Studio Code extension, giving developers access to company-specific AI directly inside their existing development environment.

As US enterprises move from AI experimentation into production, many are finding that first-generation AI coding assistants struggle to deliver on early productivity and ROI promises — largely because generic models don't understand an organization's legacy systems, governance requirements or engineering standards.

DesignVerse's technology has already been proven in one of the most safety-critical software environments in the world: the systems that control the skies over Europe. As part of an upgrade to EUROCONTROL's air traffic management infrastructure, DesignVerse's approach has generated software up to five times faster than traditional development processes, while cutting testing and QA effort.

In one enterprise deployment, DesignVerse reduced software development costs by approximately 60%, while improving architectural consistency across applications. By cutting QA rework, refactoring, coordination overhead and technical debt, the company says teams have shortened delivery timelines from six months to roughly six weeks, reduced delivery costs by around 50%, and nearly doubled delivery capacity without adding engineering headcount.

Manolache said: "The first wave of enterprise AI was about building smarter models. The next wave is about giving those models a real understanding of the organization they're working for."

He added that the real cost in enterprise software has never been how fast code gets written, but the QA, rework and validation needed to trust it — and that giving AI a real understanding of how an organization builds software removes that layer of inefficiency.
