Terma displays Embedded Tracker for Surface Movement Radar at ATC Global 2015 in Dubai

At the annual ATC Global 2015 Exhibition in Dubai World Trade Centre, U.A.E., 5-7 October 2015, Terma displays our Embedded Tracker for Surface Movement Radar (SMR) and the 2-in-1 Aerodrome Traffic Awareness solution featuring the SCANTER SMR tracking surface and air targets at the same time with an update rate of 1 second.

At our stand no. 5108, we also present our Airport Gap filling solution as well as our ATC Radar covering up to 45 NM and heated antenna preventing ice from building up under certain weather conditions.

Terma’s Embedded tracker follows each target by predicting and updating its kinematic state and other target-related features and makes this information available to the radar image presentation and any external systems e.g. ASMGCS.

It is based on the latest technology available and years of intensive product development and frequent tests in live environment with all kinds of targets.

The Aerodrome Traffic Awareness is an add-on to Terma’s SCANTER SMR. It enables detection and tracking of descending aircraft up to 10 km from the radar as well as detecting and tracking non-transponder low-level unidentified flying objects around the airport.
