Terma North America appoints Steve Gress as President & CEO

Terma North America Inc., a subsidiary of the Denmark-based Terma A/S, hasappointed Steve Gress Jr. as President & CEO, effective immediately.

To the new position, Steve Gress brings extensive experience in aerospace defense industry, and the military including over thirteen years in executive general management and business development positions with The Boeing Company and senior positions in the U.S. Air Force as fighter pilot and staff officer for the Secretary of the Air Force in the areas of Acquisition and Legislative Liaison. 
 
Steve Gress attended the U.S. Air Force Academy and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management. Additionally, he holds a Masters Degree in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology and is a Distinguished Graduate of the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
 
Terma North America Inc. (TNA) facilitates the growth and development of Terma U.S. business through local presence near customers and partners.
 
Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, TNA provides interface with the
Department of Defense, U.S. armed services, the U.S. Government, and prime contractors.
 
Through an operations facility in Warner Robins, Georgia, the company conducts business development, service, and support to the U.S. Air Force and business partners by providing electronic warfare systems, maintenance, and procurement.
 
The facility in Fort Worth, Texas, provides direct interface with Lockheed Martin and related business leaders in support of the F-35 and F-16 programs. An office in Portsmouth, Virginia, focuses on radar systems and services for U.S.-based customers, including U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, the FAA, and Department of Homeland Security.
 
The Denmark-based Terma Group (Terma A/S) develops systems and services for defense agencies, civilian authorities, and security applications, including command and control systems, radar systems, self-protection systems for aircraft, space technology, and advanced composite aerostructures for the aircraft industry. The company has a total staff of 1,200 and realized fiscal 2010/11 revenues of USD 275 million.
 
Terma maintains additional international subsidiaries and operations in TheNetherlands, Germany, and Singapore.
