Thales secures the airspace of Azerbaijan in preparation of the first European Games

Thales has delivered to the Azerbaijani Air Navigation Service Providers AZANS, a Mode S RSM970S Secondary Radar installed on a brand new tower for Heydar Aliyev International Airport airport.

The shape and design has been specifically designed with a unique radome that crowns the assembly of new ATC tower which has no analogue in EUROPE , decorated with a logo celebrating the country’s hosting of the first edition of the European Games, that will be held in Baku between the 12 and 28 June 2015.
