UFA, Inc. Opens ATCSim Innovation Center in Bavaria, Germany

- Burlington, MA. USA.

UFA, Inc. today announced the opening of the ATCSim Innovation CenterSM in Kaufbeuren, Germany.

The 350 square meter facility offers UFA’s state-of-the-art ATC Tower, Radar and Airside Driving simulation technology for training, research and development. The ATCSim Innovation Center is fully equipped with offices, classrooms, and a conference room, making it a viable alternative for those training organizations that might not want to invest in their own in-house facility or have special simulation or training needs. Easily accessible via air, car, and rail, the center offers customers a variety of accommodations and the four-season recreational activities in Bavaria.

At its inauguration, Flughafen München GmbH (FMG) will commence Apron Control training for its latest class of new controllers using the UFA ATTower® Tower Simulator with ATView™ 3D Graphics and ATRadio® Voice Communications at the ATCSim Innovation Center. Key FMG operational controller applications are integrated with the simulator to provide high fidelity training.

“We are thrilled to welcome FMG as the inaugural customer of our ATCSim Innovation Center,” said David Wolff, CEO of UFA, “with the opening of the Center, UFA continues to expand its portfolio of products and services for the civil and military air traffic management industries”.
