John D Peebles

As Vice President, Business Development for the PROCOM Communications Group at Telegenix, John is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) arena. John calls upon his more than 50 years experience in ATC to help ATC Towers of all sizes upgrade to PROCOM Series Voice Communications Switching Systems (VCSS). John obtained his ATC Certificate in 1959 as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Navy. After the Navy, during his tenure as a Department of Defense (DOD) Army civilian, Mr. Peebles became the Air Traffic Control Chief of Los Alamitos Army Airfield (AAF), a combined Visual Flight Rules (VFR) Tower and Radar Facility located in Southern California. John retired from Civil Service in 1993 as Chief of the Air Traffic Control Development Office, US Army Air Traffic Control Activity, located at the US Army War Fighting Center in Fort Rucker, Alabama. Mr. Peebles is also a Licensed Commercial Pilot rated in Fixed Wing & Helicopters; he was also a licensed Air Traffic Control Examiner and holds college-level teaching credentials in ATC operations.
