Airspace Planning – eCoach Saves time and costs
Norwegian Edda System AS introduces their powerful software application that will reduce the efforts involved in airspace planning considerably.
The eCoach Airspace Planner combines an ATC simulator with functions to design, test and evaluate airspace in one powerful and compact tool.
Airspace planning traditionally requires extensive manual programming, time load on a simulator system and the costly involvement of third party institutions for testing and validation.
The eCoach concept provides the end-user with an exceptionally easy way to simulate considered changes to air routes associated with en route and, airport arrival and departure (ATS routes, SID, STAR, IAP etc.). By simulation, eCoach will immediately show what impact any considered change will have on e.g.:
Airspace capacity utilisationATC handling capacityRadio frequency capacityAircraft track miles and fuel consumptionNoise emission impact at ground level
The tool provides both real-time and fast time simulations as well as the ability to probe functionality to evaluate relevant conditions.
The eCoach Airspace Planner software package is installed on a desktop or portable PC giving a single unit for efficient and flexible implementation and presentation of the scenarios.
For extended real-time simulation the designer tool may even run as a simulator system server and be connected up with simulated pseudo-pilot and controller workstations.
The eCoach Airspace Planner is a cost effective solution aimed at any Air space planning section within an ANSP or Aeronautical Institute searching for efficient and flexible Airspace Planning tools.
