Atech launches modular Air Traffic Flow Management solution at ICAO Air Navigation World 2026

Modular, scalable platform enables air navigation service providers to optimize operations, increase airspace capacity and reduce environmental impact

- Montreal, Canada.
Atech, an Embraer Group technology company, announced its next-generation Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) solutions at ICAO Air Navigation World (ANW) 2026 in Montreal. Designed to address the current and future challenges of global aviation, the new platform combines a modular, highly scalable architecture with flexible deployment options, enabling Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) to roll out ATFM capabilities incrementally in line with their operational needs and investment strategies.

Designed to support organizations at different levels of operational maturity, the solution offers advanced strategic, pre-tactical and tactical planning capabilities, enabling the collaborative management of air traffic demand and airspace capacity. It supports both advance operational planning and the dynamic adjustment of traffic flows in response to weather events, operational constraints or changes in demand, helping ensure that aviation infrastructure is used more efficiently.

The ability to anticipate bottlenecks well in advance delivers direct benefits for the sector's efficiency and sustainability. By reducing the time aircraft spend in holding patterns near their destinations, the system significantly reduces fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions, contributing to global aviation decarbonization goals. In addition to reducing delays for passengers and airlines alike, the system's modular design makes it a cost-effective option, bringing the technology within reach of countries with growing aviation markets in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
"The digital transformation of airspace management calls for flexible, interoperable solutions that can evolve at each organization's pace. Our new ATFM platform was designed with exactly that in mind: to deliver world-class technology used every day in one of the world's most complex airspaces, with the modularity needed to serve everyone from providers in the early stages of implementation to highly sophisticated ANSPs", said Marcos Resende, Atech's Vice President of ATM Business.
The platform joins Atech's portfolio of digital Air Traffic Management (ATM) solutions, strengthening the company's position as a global leader in developing mission-critical technologies for the aerospace sector.

At ICAO Air Navigation World 2026, taking place in Montreal from October 5 to 9, Atech will showcase the platform at its booth, with demonstrations highlighting use cases and the steps involved in implementation.
