PCICEA (SWIM) was successful in the factory qualification tests

Platform that promotes exchange of information between Brazil and Europe was developed by Atech

- Madrid, Spain

Atech, a Brazilian company of the Embraer Group, will bring the latest and most up-to-date air traffic management systems to the World ATM Congress, which will take place March 6-8 in Madrid (Spain). Among other innovations that the company will present is the SWIM-Aquila product (known as PCICEA in Brazil), which is characterized as an Aeronautical Information Sharing Platform, which is being implemented in Brazil in response to a demand from the FAB (Brazilian Air Force). The company will be at H10-931 stand.

The SWIM-Aquila product aims to meet ICAO's demands for interoperability among air traffic control systems around the world, bringing harmonization to the process of sharing flight plans, airspace and meteorological information across countries, through an international standard, in real time.

The company was recently successful in the SWIM-Aquila system qualification tests, with the actual integration between DECEA (Air Space Control Department) and EUROCONTROL, which represented a breakthrough in the project to establish an information exchange on the flight situation between Brazil and Europe.

With this new product, Atech offers a solution with the features and facilities provided in the SWIM (System Wide Information Management), promoting the centralized management, in real time, of flight plans, aeronautical and meteorology information, thus allowing the sharing of this information for air navigation service providers, airlines, government agencies, and other entities related to general aviation.
