Crown Commercial Service appoints Egis to £3bn management consultancy framework

- Farnborough, U.K.

Crown Commercial Service has announced that it has awarded an Egis consortium a place on the Management Consultancy Framework "Consultancy TWO", lot 7 “Infrastructure”.

Crown Commercial Service is an Executive Agency of the UK Cabinet Office, supporting the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

The successful consortium comprises Egis International, Egis Rail, Egis Rail UK and aviation consultancy Helios (an Egis company). Under the framework RM3745, they will have the opportunity to provide services to central and local government bodies across aviation, rail, road, infrastructure modelling, transport policies and strategy, forecasting and planning, programme and project management, business case development, procurement, risk and opportunity management, capability development, transformation and change delivery, economics analysis and research.

The agreement will be available to public sector organisations for the next four years.

Adam Parkinson, director at aviation consultancy Helios said:

“This new framework aims to simplify procurement of a wide range of management consultancy services for a big proportion of Britain’s public sector. Our place on the framework, and our end-to-end focus on infrastructure, will give us access to new clients, as well as helping existing clients procure our services with increased efficiency and simplicity.

“Simpler procurement benefits everyone – as well as helping to progress specific projects, it will contribute to wider British economic growth and support the Government’s developing infrastructure strategy.”
