Egis Avia provides support to the DSNA in defining and evaluating air traffic management operational requirements

Egis Avia has been contracted by French Air Navigation Services Department (DSNA) in providing support to define and consolidate the operational needs of airport, approach and en-route control centres.
In this context and for new operational needs, Egis Avia assists DSNA with:
  • Defining the operational requirements of the ATM system;
  • Quantifying the expected benefits;
  • Carrying out experiments to assess the impacts on controllers working processes;
  • Training operational staff.
  • These engineering activities are conducted in an ever-changing context due to the Single European Sky advent and to the Eurocontrol safety regulatory requirements (Eurocontrol Safety Regulatory Requirements). Short-term and medium-term objectives focus on improving controllers tools and reorganizing the Paris region airspace. To take over the projects challenges, Egis Avia, as a leading player in the ATM industry, has built a multidisciplinary and highly-skilled team composed of engineers, human factors and safety experts. This 6-year contract strengthens Egis Avia's position and increases its expertise value in ATM consulting and engineering.
