FAB CE appoints Egis and Integra to continue running its Programme Support Office
The Functional Airspace Block Central Europe (FAB CE) has taken another important step in supporting the development of cooperative airspace management in Central Europe by signing a new contract with Egis and its subcontractor Integra Consult A/S to continue operating the Programme Support Office (PSO).
The contract has been concluded with FAB CE Aviation Services Ltd following a competitive tender procedure launched in 2025. It will run for a minimum of three years, providing long‑term continuity and stability to support the strategic objectives of FAB CE and the delivery of its multiannual programme.
FAB CE Aviation Services Ltd is the joint service company established by the FAB CE air navigation service providers to coordinate programme activities and implement joint initiatives. Through the Programme Support Office, the company supports the governance structures of FAB CE and assists with programme coordination, project management, and technical and operational cooperation among the participating states.
The PSO plays a key role in helping FAB CE members advance initiatives aligned with the objectives of the Single European Sky and the SESAR Joint Undertaking programmes. Its work includes supporting harmonisation of operations and technology, programme planning and monitoring, safety and performance coordination, and facilitating cooperation across FAB CE working groups and governance bodies.
Under the new contract, Egis and Integra will provide a multidisciplinary team of experts and administrators supporting activities across programme management, operations, technology, safety, finance and human resources. The team will also assist with meetings and missions across FAB CE member states and other relevant European aviation forums. The new contract will support FAB CE activities through the coming years as the initiative continues to develop common operational concepts, enhance cross-border cooperation and deliver further improvements in efficiency and performance across the Central European airspace.
Mr Matej Eljon, Director of FAB CE Aviation Services Ltd commented:
We are pleased to continue our cooperation with Egis and Integra for the next phase of the FAB CE Programme Support Office. Their team brings deep knowledge of the FAB CE environment as well as broad experience across the European ATM community. This contract will support our ongoing efforts to strengthen regional cooperation, improve operational performance and contribute to the objectives of the Single European Sky. We look forward to working together to deliver the next stage of FAB CE development.
