Entry Point North ATM training conference with China Air traffic Managements Burau (ATMB)

- Malmo, Sweden.

On 19th November, an on-line conference was held by Entry Point North and ATMB (the main ANSP of China) to exchange experience about regulations and practices regarding ATM training in Europe and in China.

This high-level conference seminar was led by Mr. Gao Yi, Secretary of party committee and Anne Kathrine Jensen, CEO Entry Point North, and was attended by 180 participants from ATM units all around China.

Speakers from both sides presented different topics including recruitment and selection, training regulation, competence-based training and assessment, ATSEP training and international cooperation.

As a response to the COVID-19 crisis, participants agreed that on-line training will be an even more important substitution in the future.

Mr. Gao Yi appreciated Entry Point North´s contribution for the Chinese ATM industry by providing high quality training service in the past 40 years.

The new training model and selection tools Entry Point North has brought into China has improved the competence of ATM personnel and he stated that ATMB will deepen the cooperation with Entry Point North in a series of future training programs.
