LFV Aviation Consulting supports the development of Vietnam's air operations

- Stockholm, Sweden.

Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation signs an agreement with LFV Aviation Consulting for a feasibility study to promote the digitalization of Vietnam's air operations.

LFV Aviation Consulting, in close collaboration with the consulting company Knowledge Agency, has won an assignment for Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation. The assignment includes a feasibility study for the implementation of Remote Air Traffic Management (RTS) and a feasibility study for the evaluation and implementation of System Wide Information Management (SWIM). The assignment supports Vietnam's efforts to modernize air traffic services.

The mission will look at remote air traffic control (RTS) as a key factor in improving safety and operational flexibility, especially at regional airports. RTS uses high-resolution sensors, advanced automation and secure data transmission to enable air traffic control from a centralized control center.

In parallel, concepts for System Wide Information Management (SWIM), a global initiative in the aviation industry, are being explored. It consists of standards, infrastructure and governance to harmonize the exchange of flight and weather information for all airspace users and stakeholders.

Vietnam’s aviation sector is undergoing a major transformation to meet increasing demands for air traffic, safety, efficiency and sustainability. At the heart of this transformation is the need for seamless information exchange – a goal that SWIM directly enables.
