NATS Named “Data Solution of the Year for Transportation” in 2025 Data Breakthrough Awards Programme

NATS, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic services, today announced that its Intelligent Stand Manager has won the “Data Solution of the Year for Transportation” award in the 6^th annual Data Breakthrough Awards programme.

The awards, conducted by Data Breakthrough, recognise the top companies, technologies and products in the global data technology market today.

Jointly developed by NATS and Searidge Technologies, Intelligent Stand Manager responds to real-time data and events to automatically optimise airport stand allocation, helping provide certainty for airlines, increase resilience, and streamline operations by reducing turnaround times. 

Intelligent Stand Manager produces optimised stand plans that are continually updated through the integration of multiple data sources, referencing airport-specific KPI preferences.

Instead of static, inflexible plans, this tool provides airports with responsive, continually improving ones that automatically respond to real-time data and events. This ensures best use of airside infrastructure, with Intelligent Stand Manager dynamically responding to changes to schedules to improve strategic and tactical airfield management.
