Sustainable development and optimal air operations

As economic and competitive pressure may cloud the air transport industrys horizons, optimal operations and sustainable development issues turn out to be a real opportunity to be seized.
Developing and implementing solutions for greener skies not only meet a growing awareness for a better quality of life, they also match concerns of cost-reduction strategies and air traffic congestion. In order to face these immense challenges, Egis Avia and AVTECH decided to share their expertise and solutions. Building on their valuable experience and cutting-edge technologies, Egis Avia and AVTECH will develop synergies to strengthen their involvement in the development of solutions to optimise aircraft trajectories, reduce gas emissions, noise and fuel burn. Such partnership will focus on improving management solutions of aircraft performance-based trajectories and proceeding with the development of green procedures such as Continuous Descent Approaches or Departures (CDA-CDD). This cooperation was formalized during the ATC Global show held in Amsterdam, March 17th to 19th 2009. Both companies are proud to announce they signed a memorandum of cooperation on this occasion.
